Top 5 books to unleash the feminine goddess in you

Embrace your pussy power!

oh no… did she just say “pussy”? (makes twisty judgy face) HELL YEAH I DID! And it’s time for you to start saying it too. Unfortunately nowadays the word pussy has been deemed as gross. It is the number one insult people use to describe someone who is scared of doing something or simply put, being a lil b*tch? Don’t even get me started on the word! Most of the insults we use these days derive from female related parts. But this blog is not about my annoyance with society in using vulgar words. This post is to remind you just how powerful you are!

“Who is She? She is your power, your Feminine source. Big Mama. The Goddess. The Great Mystery. The web-weaver. The life force. The first time, the twentieth time you may not recognize her. Or pretend not to hear. As she fills your body with ripples of terror and delight. But when she calls you will know you’ve been called. Then it is up to you to decide if you will answer.”

Lucy H. Pearce, Burning Woman

Women’s day… ahh Arguably the best day of the year? I think so. Although in my eyes every day is woman’s day, because duh.. we rule the world!

Today celebrates the uniting of female power all over the world. We all know a woman who radiates pure light when they speak, someone who can stop a crowd simply by being. This is a woman who knows herself, who has discovered her deepest depts of whom she is. Someone so connected to her source that nothing else really matters.

I’ve only started my research into the realm of feminism a few years ago, growing in love more and more each day and discovering myself in ways I did not know existed before. I am a big believer that you are what you read, view and speak. That is why I wanted to share with you my top 5 books that helped me go deeper into the feminine power all women have and question some society norms that have been imposed on us as women.

  1. The Book of Woman – Osho

  2. Pussy: A Reclamation – Regena Thomashauer

  3. Bad Feminist – Roxane Gray

  4. The Female brain – Louann Brizendine

  5. GirlBoss – Sophia Amoruso

So there you have it, my top 5! All of these books have taught me about different aspects of my femininity and how to embrace it more fully.

If you have any other suggestions of books I should look into please drop a comment below. I really want to focus this year on being the best woman I can be, not only for myself but for all who are blessed to know me.

Sending much love, happiness & light  May your dreams be realised and your heart open.

Tisa xx
